11. You're having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
Calmly let them know the individual is a friend of mine and while I appreciate their right to their opinions, I would also appreciate them not discussing it while I am there, as it's uncomfortable.
12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
Love yourself, always, no matter what, but always try to grow.

13. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
That's a hard question, and would depend on which law - but probably. I think there are usually other solutions available besides breaking laws.
14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
I am sure some seemingly insane people are incredibly creative (Einstein, Picasso, etc.) but I haven't met anyone like that yet. I hope I do.
15. What's something you know you do differently than most people?
Manage my time. I have a busy life, but I manage my time well and don't get overwhelmed, so I tend to get frustrated with people who do. I know it's not necessarily their fault and we're just different, but it's a challenge for me to not mind it.
16. How come the things that make you happy don't make everyone happy?
We're just different, I suppose. The world would be pretty boring if we were all the same. If the same things made us all happy, nothing would ever change in the world, would it?
17. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What's holding you back?
I want to visit every continent in the world. My husband has visited 5 of 7 and I am crazy jealous....I am going to do it one day!
18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Actually, not really. This is one area I've grown and changed a lot. It's much easier now for me to naturally let go of relationships and emotions that hold me back and don't help me prosper in life. Occasionally I wonder if I am being cold and letting go before I should, but once the drama is gone, I am so much happier.
19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Another state - we'd probably be happy in some parts of California or possibly Florida. But I would much prefer to live in another country, and I'd be happiest in England, Australia, or possibly Spain or southern France.
20. Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator move faster?
Usually, no. This is another thing I've made efforts to improve in myself over the past year. I used to just HURRY everywhere. I don't know why. I didn't just relax and let myself be calm as I moved through the world. Now I drive slower (but happier and less stressed), walk slower, and generally try not to rush through my days unless I REALLY need to get somewhere for something important. And life is really happier at this slightly slower (but still active) pace.
