I have a pet peeve. There aren't too many things that utterly drive me crazy, but this does: people who feel they have to one-up others or compete with them. All. The. Time. Anything you do, they feel they need to do the same, and somehow do it a little bigger. They clearly have self-esteem issues or are really insecure. They make everything a competition.
They are the epitome of ridiculous.
