A Meditation: Being Gentle With Yourself

Inner peace is possible within you right now.  In fact, within each moment there is an opportunity to let go of the usual tiresome way of dealing with your life and discovering a completely different angle to life's perpetual peace through unconditional love and acceptance of yourself and all that is.  This is why there is truth in the saying that life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but rather dancing in the rain.  It all comes down to your attitude.

Sometimes your circumstances are truly challenging and may seem dire but it is just these times especially that you need to be aware so you can empower yourself with energy to fuel your passage through such storms!

From the most basic to the most complex situations you encounter, you will discover that every experience is trying to teach you something.  The ultimate lesson is how to be happy, joyful, loving and free and share that with the people around you.  It is not a hard lesson to learn, but rather a very soft and gentle one.  Once you commit to being gentle with yourself, you'll learn every amazing lesson life brings your way.

Often the lesson that we first need to learn to find inner peace right now is how to remain centered in this present moment.  Once we can remain centered in this moment, we stop fighting life and start learning our lessons. The very center of our innermost being contains the greatest source of unconditional love, acceptance and peace.  This comes through. Quieting your mind so you can be aware and then choose a positive way to flow.

If your life is full of stress, problems, and pain then your mind has been running the show for far too long.  It is time to learn how to slow down the mind and find this infinite ocean of unconditional love, acceptance and peace inside you.  To connect with this abundant state of unconditional love and acceptance and peace inside requires awareness to slow down your mind.  To tap fully into your natural state of unlimited happiness you will first want to learn how to quiet the mind through prayer, meditation and silence and doing whatever works for you to get grounded and present and aware.

By slowing down the mind, you take control of you and essentially master your life.  Even when the mind is fifty percent mastered, you will see you have more clarity, freedom and inner peace in your life.   You may even get to the point of looking forward to the next challenging situation or struggle that may arise.

With time you will find that your peace of mind is not dependent on outer circumstances, but rather on the choices YOU make in your inner world.  When your mind is quiet and you are centered inside, amazing things begin happening.  You will even develop a higher level of thinking and increase your ability to love and accept unconditionally.

Peace, Love and Sacred Journey...
