Wes's Nanna in Australia passed away yesterday after quite a long battle with cancer. I wish I had been able to meet her...according to Wes, she was a very sweet lady. She passed away in her sleep, very peacefully, after being able to say goodbyes to her family. Last month, a large number of family members went to Australia for her birthday, so it's very special that everyone was able to see her before she passed.
I know it's hard when it's your own family or friends, but I try to consider the positive side of death...how very natural it is in the cycle of life...how I don't believe anyone is truly gone, but changes forms.
