His back is hurt. He tried to lift something too heavy over a week ago and felt some sort of awful pain in the very bottom part of his back, where it meets his tailbone. It seemed to get better, and then he did it again yesterday - just getting the milk from the refrigerator. He could barely walk. He saw a massage therapist yesterday, but she says his bones are out of place, so he's seeing a chiropractor today. Neither of us have ever been to the chiropractor - what experiences have any of you had with them?
I know it must feel strange for him to be 25 and have back issues - that seems like something older folks deal with instead of people our age. I know that's ultimately not true, and a good many young people deal with different sorts of body pain. It makes me wonder what we're doing wrong. Why do people seem so less healthy these days? Is it because we don't stay physically active enough?

Ouch! Back injuries are the worst! Chris used to see a chiropractor and physical therapist for back problems, and they both helped a lot, but he still has to be careful because it's easy to re-injure. I hope the chiropractor visit helps!
